Enjoy Tea Time at Rhodes’ Historic Hotel Grande Albergo delle Rose

Guests or visitors to the elegant hotel on Rhodes can now partake in English-style 'Tea-Time' complete with a wide selection of excellent teas and pastries.

The Grande Albergo delle Rose (Italian for the “Grand Hotel of Roses”) is undeniably Rhodes’ most historic hotel, having hosted countless celebrities and world-leaders since its imposing front doors first opened in 1927.

Today operated by Casino Rodos, the hotel and its extensive grounds and casino, located just outside of the wonderful Old Town of Rhodes, continue to embody a sense of timeless elegance.

So where better to partake in the classic English afternoon ritual of Tea Time?

Every day between the hours of 17.00-21.00 the hotel has begun serving an authentic London-style high tea, with a wide range of flavored teas and infusions on offer, served in fine china and with silver cutlery.

And because no afternoon tea would be complete without a range of pastries and snacks to munch on, award-winning chef Andreas Salomakhin prepares scrumptious freshly-made scones, delicious tarts, croissants, mouthwatering muffins, home-made jams and sandwiches.

To complete the experience, beloved pianist Thalis Triantafyllou performs live every day (aside from Mondays) to make every tea time a true delight for all of the senses.
