I can offer tours to individuals or groups of people with special requests, based on my 24-year professional experience as a licensed tourist guide in Greece. In all these years I have guided throughout the country, also for travellers with mobility impairments or hearing difficulties, and have a good knowledge and research skills when it comes to facilities that sites of cultural interest can offer. As part of my professional development, I am also a qualified Leonardo project T-GuIDE, guiding people with intellectual disabilities and learning difficulties, as well as a Lead trainer of guiding skills for guides. I am a firm believer in the concept of Tourism for All, and I do my best to make it happen where the conditions allow it in my country.

The OLYMPION Rehabilitation and Recovery Center of Thessaly, is an ultra modern facility of high standards and one of the most conclusive Rehabilitation and Recovery Centers in Europe.

It is ideally situated, within a 18.000 square meter location, in the center of Greece, in Agnantero of Karditsa, very close to the towns of Karditsa and Trikala.

The Center offers specialized recovery and rehabilitation services, to people with mobility, functional and cognitive deficiencies due to injury, disease or aging, that result in difficulty to the patient’s self-service and independent living.

It provides services for In-patients and Out-patients, with complete medical surveillance and support in all the Center’s structures.

Transportation services are also provided to the patients, with special vehicle for the transfer of wheel chairs (mini bus) and a fully equipped ambulance, after coordination.

The OLYMPION Rehabilitation & Recovery Centers collaborate with private insurance companies and are contracted with the National Health Insurance of Greece (EOPYY), for In-patients as well as Out-patients. Special payment management is also offered through banks and credit cards.

The OLYMPION Rehabilitation and Recovery Center of Ioannina, is situated in the area called Pedini Ioanninon, only eight kilometers away from the center of Ioannina city and very close to the University Hospital.

It is a state-of-the-art facility, the first and unique private Rehabilitation Center in the whole area of Epirus and Northwestern Greece. It also covers the needs of the rest surrounding areas and the Ionian islands.

Built in a private area, in a green and tranquil environment, the OLYMPION Rehabilitation and Recovery Center aims to provide high standard medical rehabilitation services for neurological, orthopedic, rheumatological and cardio-respiratory cases and also for patients of post-cardiac surgery procedures and conditions of multi-organ failure.

The Center offers 40 patient rooms with 99 beds. The hospitalization rooms comfortable and luxurious, are private, sem-private and triple rooms, offering TV set, access to wifi and personal P/C, electric remotely controlled beds of personal autonomy, personal phone, independent A/C with cool air and heating, as well as ultra modern nurses calling system. The bathrooms are spacious and ergonomic, all especially equipped for people with mobility limitations.

The Center is staffed by highly experienced and qualified medical, therapeutic and nursing personnel. It offers Physiotherapy, Ergotherapy, Hydrotherapy (pool), Speech therapy, Psychological support, Therapeutic Gym Departments, while it is supported diagnostically with open type Magnetic tomography (SIEMENS, Magnetom C!)
