If you are applying for a Seconded National Expert post you must submit the application form (Application form for Seconded National Experts) by means of email via your Europol National Unit and, if necessary, the Liaison Bureau.

You must confirm in your application that your application is supported by a competent authority, and have that confirmation signed by an official of that authority who is authorised to do so.

Getting started: the application form

Once you have seen a job you would like to apply for, the first step is to complete the application form in English. 

Please note that you may not print the blank application form and complete it by hand. You must complete the form and then print and sign it. We cannot accept handwritten applications.

You should check to make sure you have provided all the information required. We cannot accept incomplete forms.

Sending in your application

For a position as a Seconded National Expert, you must submit the application electronically via your Europol National Unit (ENU), accompanied by the ENU confirmation and the above-mentioned confirmation that your competent authority supports your application. 

Making sure you meet the deadline

Europol must receive your application no later than the deadline indicated on the vacancy note.
